Workshop: Developmental Rhythms, Lehigh Valley, PA
Date: To be announced.
This workshop takes a focused look at ten developmental rhythms which are reflective of one's personality and developmental level. The rhythms come from the Kestenberg Movement Profile, a psychological and personality assessment based entirely on the nonverbal. These developmental rhythms emerge in the womb and further develop in the first six years of life. Each rhythm helps with the accomplishment of specific developmental, cognitive and psychological tasks. Knowledge of these patterns can transform therapeutic and educational work with children and the child within.
There will be an experiential demonstration designed to inform and prepare clinicians who want to further explore this information. This workshop would be great for therapists who work with children or adults, early intervention folks, daycare workers, teachers/educators, and anyone interested in the creative arts therapies.
